A Moscow pensioner has declared war on smokers and vapers beneath her apartment windows by blasting recorded insults and death wishes across the courtyard several times a day.

The woman, who lives on Kuusinena Street in Moscow’s Khoroshyovsky district, has reportedly been playing loud anti-smoking messages on repeat, sometimes even in the middle of the night.

“Smoking beneath the windows is forbidden,” announces the recording, followed by “Stink up your own apartment, not mine.”

And then comes the particularly motivational part: “Drop dead, you stinking vaper!”

According to neighbors, the campaign has been going on since July. They claim the woman has also removed benches and trash cans, used an ultrasonic device, thrown bags of water at people, and verbally abused a 12-year-old boy she suspected of smoking. These additional incidents remain residents’ allegations.

The best part? Residents say the smokers find the recordings amusing. Meanwhile, other neighbors complain that the noise frightens their pets and wakes sleeping children.

Residents have already complained to the local police, who reportedly tried to speak with the woman but couldn’t get her to answer the door.

She may not have eliminated secondhand smoke, but she’s successfully introduced secondhand screaming.
