  A Moscow couple reportedly ended up in hospital after having sex with chili-pepper lubricant.

  The 44-year-old man and his 32-year-old wife had ordered a warming intimate gel from a foreign marketplace, reportedly hoping it would help with the man’s erectile problems.

  Instead, the capsaicin in the chili caused severe burning, redness and swelling, leaving the couple in intense pain. The lubricant was also reportedly expired.

  Sometimes adding spice to your sex life should remain a metaphor.

  Russian Men Are Buying More Viagra as Stress Takes Its Toll

  Russian men are reportedly turning to erectile dysfunction drugs in growing numbers, with doctors saying even men in their 20s are increasingly using medications such as Viagra.

  Stress, anxiety and depression are being cited as possible factors, along with antidepressants that can reduce libido and cause sexual side effects.

  Russian media reports claim sales of erectile dysfunction drugs have risen by about 9%, while spending on men’s health products reached 17.9 billion rubles (about $225 million).

  Apparently, stress in Russia is now affecting more than just blood pressure.

  Russian women have started mass-reselling used breast implants.

  Demand for silicone breast implants has fallen. Implants that cost 180,000 rubles — about $2,300 — are being sold after removal for just 30,000 rubles — about $386.

  Reasons vary: childbirth, pain, dissatisfaction with the result, or wanting to recover part of the surgery cost.

  Doctors warn that used implants should not be reused, as it can be dangerous to health.

  VR-assisted childbirth has started being used in Russia, according to Baza.

  Teen in Astrakhan Suffers Severe Health Damage After a Year of Daily Energy Drinks and Vaping 

  

  A 19-year-old from Russia’s Astrakhan Region has been classified with a Category III disability after consuming energy drinks and using vapes every day for nearly a year. The teen reportedly drank three to four cans of energy drinks daily in hopes of boosting his chances of winning a luxury car in an online giveaway. Participants were encouraged to register as many receipts from energy drink purchases as possible.

  Before this, the young man led an athletic lifestyle and had plans to apply to the FSB Academy in St. Petersburg. A routine medical checkup before the academic year showed no health issues.
