Moscow Woman Sentenced to Five Years After Jealous Attack on Husband
A Moscow woman has been sentenced to five years in a penal colony after biting off her husband’s penis during a violent attack fueled by jealousy, according to Russian media.
The incident reportedly began after the 39-year-old found messages on her husband’s phone from an unknown woman describing a romantic dream involving the two of them. Believing the messages proved he had been unfaithful, she allegedly left for her country house, spent two days drinking, and sharpened her teeth with a metal file before confronting him.
According to Russian media, the husband was rushed to the hospital, where doctors were able to reattach the organ. However, he has reportedly not regained erectile function.
The woman was convicted of intentionally causing grievous bodily harm and sentenced to five years in prison.
