Some Russian railway stations have machines that give passengers proof of where they started their journey — assuming they can actually get the proof out of the machine.

The system is used at some stations to register the beginning of a trip. In this video, however, the machine prints the paper behind a protective cover and apparently fails to release it properly, leaving the passenger desperately trying to pull it out through a tiny opening.

As one Reddit commenter put it: “Russia has two problems: fools and roads. Here, the railroads clearly collided with fools.”
